Education | Arts Institute
in Sussex County continues to be at the forefront of the mission of Clear Space Theatre Company. In order to augment the rich performing arts that are already established in this area, it is our hope that a training facility will create a community of professional performers. We feel that professionalism occurs when knowledge and skills are gained through the systematic study of a chosen area. The classes of the Arts Institute are designed to move students, of all ages and ability levels, through a logical progression of learning that will allow a sense of self-confidence and ownership of the performing arts. Take a class and enjoy the process!
- Students thrive in an environment that offers challenging but attainable goals.
- The arts reveal the creative process in each student and inspire collaborative problem solving.
- Arts education experiences build self-confidence allowing students to find a larger, more expansive version of self to guide change in the world around them.
-
Classes in dance, voice, acting and performance for students grades 1-8.
-
Various classes offered for teen and adult students in Improvisation, Monologue Study, Scene Study, and Dance.
-
Individualized instruction is offered in semester-long, weekly, half or full-hour meetings.
- Private Coachings are scheduled in any number of half or full-hour meetings, and are created with a specific end-date in mind, usually in preparation for a specific audition (production, school, college) or performance.
- The Summer Intensive is a one- or two-week program, running from the last week of June through the first 2 weeks of July, tailored for students from grades 1--12 who are interested in the components of musical theatre: dance, voice, acting, and playwriting.
